USE E-MAIL AND SEARCH THE WEB USING BROWSERS

INSTRUCTION:

  1. Change the homepage to “ilovegod.com”.
  2. Visit a website using search engine having a topic about “Management Information System”.
  3. Bookmark any website that sells computer parts/devices and the searched website having the topic about “Management Information System”.
  4. Reply any message on your inbox and cc to me (gemcat_the_peacemaker@yahoo.com) use automatic signature and bcc to anyone on your contact list.
  5. Send an email to me (gemcat_the_peacemaker@yahoo.com) with attached files that you have been made on MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint and the topic that you had search with a subject of “My Final Assessment Exam” and do not put a signature on it.
  6. Put any message and check the spellings of your message.
  7. Sort your Inbox by date.
  8. Add contact on your address book.

OPERATE A PRESENTATION PACKAGE



INSTRUCTION


1. Create a presentation that contains 10 slides and apply a footer using the master slide. The footer should be the name of your company. Set all the font faces to Arial, for the title the font size is 30 and font size 24 for the subtitle.

2.
In slide 1, the title is your name and put anything in your subtitle.

3.
Next slide must contain a picture of a computer and describe it on the other side of the picture and provide a title.

4.
The following slide must contain the title of the assessment that you’re taking and the core units of competencies. The core units of competencies must be in bulleted form.

5.
Make your organizational chart to the next slide.

6.
Put the chart that you have created in MS Excel in the next slide.

7.
Next slide must contain about your comment with regards to the assessment exam.

8.
Make a marketing income of your company versus other company in one of your slide.

9.
Be sure that you created a table and a chart.

10.
Put in one slide the mission, vision and services or products of your company.

11.
Last slide must contain the word “Thank You and God bless” with and apply an animation on it.

12.
Save your presentation as “My Presentation” on your folder.



OPERATE A SPREADSHEET APPLICATION

INSTRUCTION:

  1. Create a worksheet exactly as shown in the example as well as its formats under the filename of “MyExcel”.
  2. Rename the worksheet as Sales Revenue Report.
  3. The amount of Furniture has a constant value of 13,500 in every month.
  4. The amount of Garments increases 2% in every month.
  5. The amount of Kitchenware doubles the value on the next month.
  6. The Sales discount will be 12% of the sum of Furniture, Garments and Kitchenware in each month.
  7. Gross sales will be the sum of Furniture, garments and Kitchenware deducted by sales discount.
  8. In the expenses, copy the values as shown in the example.
  9. Compute for the total expenses which are the sum of the expenses of each month.
  10. The Gross profit of a month will be gross sales deducted by the total expenses.
  11. The cumulative profit (loss) of a month will be the gross profit of the month plus the cumulative profit of the previous month.
  12. If the accumulative profit is less than zero (0), the font color will change into red.
  13. Compute for the total or the sum of Furniture, Garments, Kitchenware, sales discount, gross sales, the expenses, total expenses and the gross profit.
  14. The headers on the first month up to the last month should have a yellow color and the total should be blue with double underlined at the bottom using borders.
  15. Put a Light Turquoise fill color on the totals cells.
  16. Create a bar chart for the Furniture, Garments and Kitchenware from the first month up to the last month and put it on another sheet.

Note:

The values of Furniture, Garments and Kitchenware from the first up to the last month must display on the chart.

OPERATE A WORD-PROCESSING APPLICATION


Instruction:

  1. Create the given business letter.
  2. For the margins: all the margins should be 1".
  3. Paper size: A4
  4. Font sizes must be 11pts
  5. Use the Trebuchet font.
  6. Add header and footer for your letter and insert logo or picture, put your company name and mailing address as a header and your company’s motto as a footer. You can use any picture you want for the logo.
  7. Paragraph spacing between paragraphs should be 11 points.
  8. Paragraph alignments should be justified.
  9. Paragraph style on the body of the letter should be Body text.
  10. For the numbered list , change the style to MyList, Bullet position: Indent at= .5 ; Text position: tab space after= .75; indent at=.35
  11. Save the document as “MyWord” on your folder.
